Some epic coverage- well done Tippie! Thanks for getting most of the podium and not just the winner
Why would freeride ever die?- perhaps off the pages of print and online popularity. Writers declaring the end of freedom is not a new idea. This one is simple: Riding your bike= feeling free. Cruising your local trails after work, getting creative about where you ride or what bike you choose. Jumping the big lines when your feeling it, fine-tuning your lines on DH days, spinning like the new-schoolers, dropping like the old-schoolers, shredding everything, progressing always, crashing and getting back up again; rinse and repeat. Its what 99% of what most MTBer's do. Writers have a tendency to focus too much on whats new and exciting as if it will be big enough to undue what has come before. Or worst, at bare minimum are these ideas or concepts you should buy - I would never buy that freeride will ever die. Maybe freeride is the undead- then were all muthafukin' zombies.
